30,002 is the Magic Number for November
The number of vehicles imported into Canada in the month of November was 30,002 which is THREE TIMES higher than last year.
What does this prove? The automaker generated FUD in Canada about new deals, fair deals and price parity are falling on many deaf ears. It also shows that the import process is NOT that complicated despite their great efforts to use non-tariff barriers such as declaring vehicles inadmissible due to the immobilized regulations (they lost that one) and threatening their US dealers franchises to hinder the free flow of vehicles from the US.
Let us be clear. You can save thousands buy purchasing in the US..even tens of thousands (look at Corvette pricing).
